My main hobbies are computer programming and music (both playing and composing).

Computer Programming

Besides the programming I do for research, I often like to tinker with fun programming projects. I have worked on a few projects using a number of platforms:

  • the Arduino,
  • the Commodore 64
  • the PlayStation 2 / Linux Kit
  • the Palm Pilot, and, more recently,
  • the iPhone.

I also have a modest computer "museum". The main criterion for being included in the museum is that one can use the device as soon as it starts up, without requiring additional software.

Music

I play guitar and steel pan (a.k.a. "steel drums"), and for percussion I have been using a PadKontrol pad. Most of my music recording is done in Logic.
